Emulating the World Cup! Injury time will be added to the new Premier League season to ensure net game time

In order to avoid delays, the new season of the Premier League will follow the Qatar World Cup and the English Premier League model, lengthening the extra time, the red card, injuries, sideline ball, set-piece before the preparation, celebration, are included in the extra time, to protect the net game time.

The international soccer record for extra time in last year’s World Cup England played Iran, 14 minutes of extra time in the first half (the Iranian goalkeeper was injured), 13 minutes in the second half, a total of 27 minutes, 11 substitutions throughout the game.

Last season, the average effective time per game in the Premier League was 54 minutes and 49 seconds.
